Who is SuperiorSlides?
We're a family owned and operated business that addresses the need for an affordable and easy way for
families to update their slide collections to a digital format.
Having retired from a career in computer science combined with photographic expertise that spans back
to the 70's (I owned a nationally advertised custom photolab business catering to professional
photographers), in 2005 my wife of 33 years and I formed SuperiorSlides. We take pride in our work and
pleasure knowing we're helping families across the country share memories of times past.

Transferring slides to DVDs is our sole business which we built based on three simple ideals:

Where is SuperiorSlides?
We run the business in our home of the past 28 years in Ann Arbor Michigan. We never out source work to
a third party. Your slides remain safely in our possession until your order is done & mailed back to you.

Remember what customer service used to mean? We do! We're here to answer your questions before
you place an order, let you know the status of your project after you place an order and address any
questions you have after your order is done. When you email SuperiorSlides you'll be communicating
directly with the person who is working on your slide order. You only get that level of service from a small

SuperiorSlides LLC was established April 2005 and is solvent and debt free. In other words, we're not
going anywhere. We found a simple model for success; work hard, treat everyone as family and create a
product we are proud of.

We are an "A" rated company with the Better Business Bureau. If you're curious why we're not rated "A+"

I called the local BBB office to find out. Their response was it is simply a matter of length of time in
business. The lady at the BBB office said SuperiorSlides will be rated "A+" after we've been in business 7

The reason for this is simple. We offer an exceptional service at a reasonable cost, you deal directly with
the people who are doing the work and last but not least, we want you to be happy with our work! Our
Achilles' heel is our popularity can force our turnaround time to be long. We do our best to control the level
of our order backlog by adjusting the level of advertising we do but much of our business comes from
referrals which is uncontrollable. So there are never any surprises for anyone considering using our
service there is a link to our current order turnaround time on every page on our site. Sometimes our
backlog is less than a week, other times it can be more than two months. We do not like to make our
customers wait a long time to receive their finished order! When the turnaround time is exceptionally long
